Fuzion Dance Studio

"Where Passion Meets Movement"

ROAD MAP TO REOPENING

Like you, we are eager to get back into the studio and dance again. Although we will do everything possible to ensure the safety of our dancers, families, and staff, we believe a slow & safe return to in studio classes is the best approach. Below is our “road map to reopening” and the safety precautions we are taking.

JULY 2020 CLASSES/CAMPS

*Camps will take place in person at the Studio at 50% capacity (6 kids per camp)

*Competition solo dancers will continue in Studio classes

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

*Fuzion Dance Studio staff will be wearing masks during in person classes.

*Common areas, restrooms, ballet barres, props, door handles, cubbies, and other commonly touched surfaces will be cleaned & disinfected between classes.

*Hand sanitizer & disinfectant wipes will be readily available in the waiting area

*Disinfectant spray will be available in both restrooms and students/staff will be asked to spray surfaces after use.

*Students and staff will be asked to adhere to social distancing (6 feet).

*Due to the small size of the waiting area, no one will be allowed to stay in the waiting area to observe class. Exceptions will be made for younger classes with students that may need assistance with using the restroom.

*Students and staff will be encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer prior to the start of class and before they leave.

*Face masks are encouraged for students, but will not be required as we understand how difficult it is to breathe in them, especially while doing a physical activity like dancing.

*Any students or staff that have experienced a fever above 100.4, persistent cough, shortness of breath, or flu-like symptoms are asked to stay home.

*The water fountain will be put out of service until further notice. Students need to bring their own water bottles to class.

AUGUST 2020 CLASSES

*Camps will take place in person at the Studio at 75% capacity (9 kids per camp)

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

*Students and staff will be asked to adhere to social distancing (6 feet).

*One (1) person per dancer will be allowed to stay in the waiting area to observe recreational classes.

*Students, parents, & staff will be encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer prior to the start of class and before they leave.

SEPTEMBER 2020-MAY 2021 CLASSES

*In Studio classes will resume as normal at full capacity (8-15 kids per class)

*All classes will be hybrid classes, which means, students will have access to virtual class content in addition to the in studio classes. This also means you get more bang for your buck, and in the event the Studio needs to close or cancel classes due to another outbreak, winter weather, severe weather, instructor illness, etc., dancers won’t miss a class! YAY!

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

*Common areas, restrooms, ballet barres, props, door handles, cubbies, and other commonly touched surfaces will be cleaned & disinfected on a regular basis.

*Hand sanitizer & disinfectant wipes will be readily available in the waiting area

*There will be no restrictions for the waiting area, but keep in mind there are only 12 chairs.
